It all began in 2006, when Lenka started marking granola bars from local, all-natural, nutritious ingredients for her two sons. Instead of baking the bars, she used caramel for binding to give them a fresh, soft, gooey texture and enhance the full sensory experience. Word spread quickly about the delicious homemade treats and so did demand. While the operation has scaled up from home kitchen to a commercial production facility, the foundational principles of Lenka Bar have never wavered. The company is still a family operation and makes new batches everyday to ensure peak freshness.
